Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Receive a passing score on the Welder Qualification test within the first 90 days of employment.

Adjust welder to proper configurations to ensure quality and accuracy of required weldments.

Ability to operate overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place.

Heat and form metal parts and components using hand tools, torches, or welding equipment.

Fabricate components using patterns and/or fixtures.
-
Remove weld splatter using hand or power tools.
-
Maintain attention to detail as necesssary to adhere to quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required

Math, geometry, measurement and PC skills, and must be able to read orders, and tape measures.

Able to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings.

Ability to safely use hand and power tools & equipment.
-
Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety.

Must be dependable and report to work on time.
