Summary of Position:
A Housekeeping Team Member’s responsibility is to attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming and laundry.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Protect and properly operate equipment.
- Notify Manager of any damages or broken equipment.
- Deal with reasonable guest requests with professionalism and patience.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace as appropriate.
- Strictly adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company related practices.
Qualifications:
- Must be customer oriented and friendly.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision while maintaining a high level of performance.
- Must have good prioritization and time management skills.
- Must be able to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Must be able to perform the physical duties required of the position.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays.
