About the Role
Spring Creek Homes is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee new residential construction projects in Alton, TX. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of homebuilding from permitting through final walkthrough, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of new residential construction sites from groundbreaking through completion
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site crews to keep projects on schedule
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and material procurement schedules
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, architects, and municipal inspectors
- Review blueprints, specifications, and permits to ensure accurate project execution
- Identify and resolve construction issues, delays, or budget variances proactively
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and progress reports
- Enforce jobsite safety protocols and OSHA compliance at all times
Qualifications
- Experience required: prior experience in residential construction management or a related supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of residential building codes, permitting processes, and construction best practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
- Excellent organizational, budgeting, and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Proficiency with construction management or scheduling software is a plus
