We are looking for a PRN RN for night shifts at Life Savers Emergency Room in Houston, Texas, we’re not just an ER, we’re a community lifeline, delivering fast, compassionate, and top-tier care to patients. Night Shift: 6:00pm to 6:00am
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, including IV insertion and medication administration.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective communication and patient safety.
- Administer basic life support and advanced cardiac life support as needed.
- Utilize critical care experience to manage patients in emergency situations and assist with charge duties.
- Ensure compliance with PALS and ACLS certification protocols.
Requirements:
- Active RN license (ADN or BSN) with no restrictions.
- Minimum 3 years of ER experience required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
