Job Schedule: Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed
Job Shift: 7:00AM – 4:00PM
Pay: $18.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs repairs and maintenance on frontload and roll-off containers.
- Use of torches and hand grinders to cut steel.
- Fabricates steel components for hoppers, containers, and compacters.
- Assists senior welders in the completion of project work.
- Performs related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching of metal and plastic parts.
- Basic understanding of drawings as it pertains to welding.
- Performs from verbal instructions.
- Utilizes standard shop hand tools, measuring devices and equipment.
- Maintains a clean work area in compliance with company standards.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
Additional Information
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.
- Physical Demand: Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) often.
- Working Conditions: Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often.
- Normal setting for this job is: manufacture shop no A/C.
- Education : HS Diploma or GED and must be authorized to work in the United States.
