Job Summary:
The School Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Perry School and ensuring that the school runs efficiently and effectively. Working closely with the School Director, this role supports staff, families, and school operations by managing administrative processes, coordinating schedules, maintaining compliance, and ensuring a high-quality experience for students and families. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced early childhood education environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the school and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Partner with the School Director to implement operational goals and school initiatives.
- Supervise and support administrative and operational staff.
- Coordinate staff schedules, classroom coverage, and facility operations.
- Assist with enrollment, admissions, and family communications.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and school policies.
- Oversee health, safety, and emergency preparedness procedures.
- Manage operational systems, records, and reporting.
- Coordinate with vendors, maintenance providers, and outside partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Support special events, school programs, and community activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Education, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field).
- 3–5+ years of operations, administrative, or school leadership experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting is an advantage but not required.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
