Vallera Jewelers is growing our team at The Florida Mall, and we are currently hiring for both Fine Jewelry Sales Associate and managerial positions (Assistant Manager and Store Manager).

Sales Associate — Duties
- Greet every client warmly and provide an attentive, consultative shopping experience
- Present fine jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and watches with confidence, educating clients on quality, craftsmanship, metals, and the 4 Cs
- Guide clients through meaningful purchases — engagement rings, anniversary gifts, custom pieces, and self-purchases
- Build lasting client relationships through follow-ups, wish lists, and personalized service
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to overall store targets
- Recommend add-ons such as protection plans, jewelry care products, and complementary pieces
- Process sales, returns, layaways, and financing applications accurately at the point of sale
- Assist with repair intake, ring sizing, cleaning services, and special orders, setting clear expectations for clients
- Maintain showcase presentation, merchandising standards, and daily merchandise counts
- Follow all security, loss prevention, and cash-handling procedures with care and precision
- Support opening and closing procedures, including secure merchandise handling
Sales Associate — Requirements
- Prior retail sales experience preferred; fine jewelry, watch, or luxury retail experience is a strong plus
- Genuine enthusiasm for jewelry and for helping clients mark life's most important moments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional presentation
- Comfortable working toward sales goals in a fast-paced mall environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling high-value merchandise and transactions
- Basic math skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle merchandise
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check
Managerial Staff — Responsibilities
In addition to the duties above, candidates for Assistant Manager and Store Manager roles will:
- Lead by example on the sales floor, coaching associates to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Drive store sales performance, monitor key metrics, and execute strategies to meet and exceed targets
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash reconciliation, and bank deposits
- Manage inventory control, receiving, transfers, and physical counts with strict loss prevention standards
- Resolve escalated client concerns with professionalism while protecting long-term client relationships
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and security protocols
Managerial Staff — Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail management or supervisory experience; jewelry or luxury retail management strongly preferred
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and developing successful teams
- Strong operational skills, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash controls
- Confident decision-maker with excellent leadership and communication skills
- Full-time availability, including weekends and holiday seasons
