The Network Engineer is a delivery-focused professional responsible for implementing secure network environments across multiple client sites. This role blends complex project work with a "fu l-stack" security mindset. We need an experienced, self-driven leader who is comfortable partnering with clients and explaining the “why” behind technical decisions in plain language.
Core Responsibilities:
· Network Implementation: Design and implement solutions across switching, routing, wireless, and firewall platforms (Fortinet, Cradlepoint, etc.) aligned with Resilient Networks' standards.
· Wireless Network Security: Design secure wireless environments (WPA2/WPA3, RADIUS/802.1X) and troubleshoot RF issues with a security-first lens.
· Full-Stack Alignment: Ensure network controls align with identity controls, such as Conditional Access intent, device compliance signals, and SSO traffic patterns.
· Modern Cybersecurity Mastery: Proven experience with Modern Cybersecurity strategies using platforms such as Fortinet, Cradlepoint, SentinelOne, Sophos, Barracuda, Mimecast, RMM Endpoint Patching/Mgmt, Microsoft 365 EntraID, Intune, and Windows Hello for Business.
· Client-Facing Delivery: Lead client implementations including scope confirmation, risk management, and presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in networking (MSP or complex multi-site environments preferred).
· Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on expertise with Firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, segmentation, and routing/switching.
· Consultative Skills: Naturally curious with a passion for tinkering and the social aptitude to lead client engagements.
· Project Management: Demonstrated experience organizing, quoting, and managing al phases of a technical implementation.
· Travel: Ability to work 100% in the office with required travel to client sites (30% to 50%) within a two-hour radius of the office.
