Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items quickly and efficiently, following safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions accurately, and perform cashier duties including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, kitchen stations, and food prep areas by bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Assist in food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Support team members with food preparation, packaging orders, and ensuring timely service during busy hours.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience with cashiering, serving, bussing tables or kitchen work is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided!
