Duties
- Engage with customers via phone and email, to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product or service information with enthusiasm.
- Assist clients with sales opportunities by understanding their needs and recommending suitable solutions.
- Manage data entry tasks accurately to update customer records, order details, and support documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy and security.
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns to follow up on inquiries, gather feedback, or promote new offerings.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to build rapport and ensure clear understanding.
- Support client services by troubleshooting problems, providing technical assistance, and escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations
- ·Assist in the upkeep of critical equipment (forklifts, saws, etc.) with a strong focus on health and safety.
- Cut customer orders to specification using various metal cutting equipment, including band saws and hydraulic shears
Qualifications
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Proven experience in customer support or metal industry is an asset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond clearly in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills for data management and documentation.
- You must be physically able to frequently lift or move metal products weighing between 50-100 lbs.
- A commitment to health and safety protocols, ensuring every task is completed safely.
- Knowledge of call center procedures, phone etiquette, and customer service best practices is desirable.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately along with typing skills for quick data entry.
- Analysis skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions are beneficial.
