WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our Project Management Office (PMO) and Agile software development teams.
This is an excellent junior opportunity for someone interested in growing a career in Project Management, Operations, or Technology. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the PMO Lead to help maintain project organization, Jira administration, documentation, and Agile delivery processes across multiple initiatives.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, eager to learn, and enjoys helping teams stay aligned and productive.
NOTE: The candidate MUST currently reside in the U.S. Eastern or Central time zone.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination
- Support the PMO Lead in coordinating project activities across multiple initiatives.
- Track action items, follow-ups, and project milestones.
- Help maintain project schedules, documentation, and team communications.
- Assist with release coordination and project readiness activities.
- Escalate blockers, risks, or concerns to the PMO Lead.
Jira Administration & Backlog Support
- Review tickets for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with backlog organization and sprint readiness activities.
- Create and maintain Jira filters, dashboards, and board views.
- Help identify stale, duplicate, or outdated work items.
Agile Team Support
- Coordinate logistics for Agile ceremonies and team meetings.
- Prepare agendas and supporting materials.
- Capture meeting notes, decisions, and action items.
- Follow up on outstanding tasks and commitments.
PMO Innovation & Team Engagement Support
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts that strengthen team effectiveness and communication.
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve project coordination, documentation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Support PMO initiatives that help align teams around organizational goals, priorities, and company values.
- Contribute ideas that enhance project delivery, team collaboration, and PMO maturity.
Documentation & Process Support
- Maintain project documentation within Confluence.
- Organize meeting notes, decision logs, and project records.
- Assist with PMO templates, standards, and process documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or similar. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools like Zoom.
- Ability to travel domestically 2x a year for company onsite.
Preferred
- 1-2 years of project management or similar experience.
- Experience with Jira and/or Confluence.
- Experience in project coordination, operations, customer success, administrative support, or related roles.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or software development environments.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
