Job Description:
We are a locally owned and operated sign company in Austin, TX, looking for a dependable and motivated Sign Installer / Production Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Experience in sign installation, construction, or related fields is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of interior and exterior signage (channel letters, monument signs, vinyl graphics, banners, etc.)
- Operate power tools, ladders, and lifts safely and efficiently
- Assist with sign production in the shop, including vinyl cutting, assembly, and finishing
- Load and unload materials and keep work areas organized
- Follow safety protocols and maintain company equipment
- Communicate effectively with the team and customers on-site
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, rooftops)
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Previous experience in sign installation, construction, or electrical work is a plus but not required
