Position Overview
Creative Flavors is seeking a dependable and organized Office Clerk / Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of our office. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for answering phones, welcoming visitors, coordinating mail and deliveries, maintaining office supplies, and providing general administrative support to ownership, management, accounting, and other employees.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and willing to assist with a variety of administrative tasks as business needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally
- Welcome customers, vendors, delivery personnel, and other visitors
- Receive, sort, distribute, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Monitor inventory and order office supplies, stationery, and equipment as needed
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and document preparationMaintain organized office records, files, and administrative documents
- Communicate with ownership regarding daily priorities, assignments, and follow-up items
- Route invoices, correspondence, and other documents to management or accounting for review
- Assist with basic administrative tasks involving bills, receipts, and office documentation
- Help maintain an orderly and professional office environmentReport office equipment, maintenance, or repair needs to management
- Assist with meetings, employee events, celebrations, conferences, and other company activities
- Complete occasional business-related errandsProvide additional administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist, office clerk, administrative assistant, front office, or similar support role preferred
- Working knowledge of general office procedures and administrative practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Comfortable using common office equipment, including printers, scanners, copiers, and multiline telephone systems
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle routine problems independently and ask questions when clarification is needed
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a small-office environment
- Willingness to assist with different responsibilities as business needs change
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional education or training in office administration, business, or a related field is a plus
Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-office position. The employee will regularly interact with ownership, employees, customers, vendors, delivery personnel, and other visitors.The role requires frequent computer and telephone use and the ability to remain organized while handling interruptions and changing priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
