Special Education teacher for a 39‑week contract in or near Detroit, Michigan. Responsible for delivering IEP‑aligned instruction, behavior management, and collaboration with families and staff. Earn up to $58 per hour with competitive benefits.
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (or equivalent).
Valid Special Education teaching certification/credential (Michigan‑specific certification preferred/required).
Minimum 1 year of Special Education Teacher experience, including developing individualized lesson plans and supporting students with special needs.
Strong classroom management and behavior support experience, with ability to collaborate with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with IEP‑aligned instruction, student progress monitoring, and implementing care plans for students with autism or other special needs.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a W2 basis; full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, days schedule.
