The upcoming New The Melt Restaurant will be Opening soon in Monterey Park and we are hiring for highly experienced Assistant Managers and Shift Leaders from within the food service industry for a Fast Casual or Quick Service (QSR) brands. At The Melt, we do things differently. Our Shift Managers & Assistant Managers participate in a Tip Pool and can earn Tips of approximately, $450.00 average for every 4-week Operating Period. At The Melt, We believe in challenging the stereotypes and roadblocks associated with some QSR, Fast Casual, and Food Service careers. We believe that a career in the Fast Casual/QSR/Food Service industry is an exciting, fast-paced and exhilarating experience.
These roles require working late nights including on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in restaurants open as late as until 3:00am PT.

Position Description
Title: Shift Managers & Assistant Managers Report To: General Manager -
Service Excellence
- Ensures “I Love It Here” experience for every guest
- Ensure standards are consistently met for speed of service, order accuracy, product quality, and store cleanliness
- Handles problem resolution with composure while living The Melt values
- Inspires, motivates, and coaches fellow Crew Members to their very best performance
Profitable Operations
- Ensures food quality, food safety and store cleanliness.
- Follows all health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Follows cash management and cash register policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be Happy and Positive with a collaborative team-oriented work ethic.
- Must have at least 2-3 years of Supervisory and or Managerial-level experience within The Fast Casual, QSR or Mid-Scale Casual Dining segment.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly and the leadership skills to build and be part of a team.
- Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have exceptional work ethic.
- Must be 18 to apply
- Must be available to work up to 40 -50 hours per week, including late nights and weekend Closing Shifts.
- Must develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly and to work as part of a team.
- ServSafe certification.
