Burkmann Nutrition proudly produces wholesome animal nutrition products to support farmers large and small across Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia and North Carolina. Our Burkmann Danville production facility is actively seeking a skilled team member to accurately produce our high quality, intricately formulated feed and mineral products in our computer-based production plant.
Responsibilities of the Feed Plant Manufacturing and Loading Team Member will include but are not restricted to the following:
1) Become trained and proficient in all aspects of feed production including but not limited to:
- Receiving, screening and sampling inbound ingredients.
- Weighing and loading of loose feed materials into bulk trucks for delivery.
- Processing corn for use in feed formulas.
- Accurately weigh and batch up to 50 ingredients as specified in each feed formula.
2) The successful candidate will:
- Take pride in their work and their ability to accurately meet production goals.
- Have experience in computerized manufacturing.
- Be self-directed and flexible in the performance of their duties.
- Be able to effectively communicate with other team members as required.
- Have sincere interest in the Agricultural industry and working in the American food chain.
- Demonstrate dependable, punctual work habits, be neat and well-groomed, and act in a courteous, professional manner.
