Marketing Director – GL Restaurant Group
Lead Marketing for Two of Pensacola’s Premier Chef-Driven Restaurants
GL Restaurant Group, home to George Bistro + Bar and Pearl & Horn, is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Director to lead the growth and visibility of two of Pensacola's most celebrated dining destinations. Our restaurants are known for chef-driven cuisine, exceptional hospitality, and unforgettable guest experiences.
Position Overview
The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive guest traffic, strengthen customer loyalty, and elevate our reputation throughout the Gulf Coast region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans for both restaurant brands
- Manage social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement
- Oversee photography, videography, email marketing, and digital advertising
- Coordinate promotions, events, partnerships, and public relations efforts
- Analyze marketing performance and optimize campaigns based on results
- Manage online reputation across Google, OpenTable, Resy, and social platforms
- Collaborate closely with ownership and operations teams to align marketing with business goals
- Maintain brand consistency across all guest touchpoints
- Build and manage relationships with influencers, media, tourism organizations, and community partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years of marketing leadership experience (hospitality or restaurant experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of social media, digital advertising, email marketing, and brand strategy
- Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills
- Experience with content creation and creative direction
- Ability to analyze data and turn insights into actionable strategies
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and guest experiences
