Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician
Full-Time | $19–$20 per hour
As a Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician, you’ ll help keep commercial kitchens safe, clean, and compliant. This is a hands-on, physical role with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow in appliance repair, mechanical maintenance, and general service technician skills.
100% availability to work - flexibility is essential to meet service needs. Typical 80% of the shifts start times range from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the other 20% could be assigned on the morning or day
Responsibilities
- Clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, fans, and filters
- Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Use specialized tools to safely disassemble, clean, and reassemble system components
- Keep accurate records of all cleaning procedures, observations, and system
Requirements
- Full availability, including the ability to work any scheduled night
- No previous experience required — we provide complete training
- Must have reliable personal transportation
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces when necessary
