Job Summary
Ajin Georgia is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs within our automotive manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will oversee safety compliance, develop and implement EHS programs, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and management.
- Oversee environmental compliance, waste management, and documentation.
- Evaluate new equipment and manufacturing processes for safety risks.
- Partner with leadership to achieve company safety goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead safety initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
- Experience leading safety culture improvement initiatives.
