Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients. You will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as providing guidance on lens options and frame styles. Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
- Educate customers on lens options, including coatings, tints, and materials
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to ensure optimal comfort and functionality
- Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions, orders, and payments
- Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Optician is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of optical anatomy, lens materials, and frame styles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in using optical retail management systems
