We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Neuro Surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on patient coordination, ensuring exceptional care and assisting with clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical setting.
As a Medical Assistant, you will assist with patient intake, scheduling, documentation, and ensuring that each patient’s visit runs smoothly. You will collaborate closely with providers to deliver the best care possible to our patients.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess one or more of the following:
- Medical Assistant experience
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Patient Care Technician (PCT) Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification
- A combination of the above experience and/or certifications
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patient charts and assist with appointment coordination.
- Obtain and record vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature).
- Update patient records with changes to medications and health history.
- Assist providers with patient exams, treatments, and care planning.
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments.
- Handle patient intake and provide reminders for upcoming appointments.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Required Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program OR 12 months of healthcare experience.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with electronic health records (EHR), practice management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Previous pediatric experience is preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
