Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Process orders efficiently using a POS system, ensuring accurate billing.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including catering events.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Uphold food handling safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in the food industry or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Must possess valid food handling certifications as required by local health regulations.
