Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs, maintenance, and remodeling tasks across various construction sites and facilities.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with installation and fabrication projects.
- Install fixtures, cabinetry, doors, windows, flooring, tile, and other building components with precision.
- Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure safety standards are met and work complies with specifications.
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, masonry, stucco application, roofing, and restoration projects as needed.
- Support carpentry activities such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, and drywall installation.
- Collaborate with team members on heavy equipment operation and site setup to optimize workflow.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or general labor roles is highly preferred; familiarity with various trades such as plumbing, electrical work, or masonry is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic machinery required for construction tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to support installation projects.
- Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
- Experience with blueprint reading, concrete finishing, tile laying, roofing techniques or restoration work is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods throughout the day.
