Position Overview
Steadyline Solutions is seeking experienced, professional OTR box truck drivers who are self-motivated, reliable, and capable of operating independently without constant supervision. This role is best suited for drivers who understand how to manage their time, maximize revenue opportunities, and operate efficiently in an over-the-road environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft box truck across multiple states (OTR)
- Maintain compliance with all ELD (electronic logging device) and DOT regulations
- Plan routes effectively to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
- Communicate proactively regarding delays, issues, or changes in schedule
- Remain available and responsive to dispatch while on active loads
- Identify opportunities to maximize productivity and revenue (including partial loads when applicable)
- Maintain professionalism with brokers, customers, and dispatch at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months OTR experience required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean or acceptable driving record
- Experience using ELD systems required
- Strong understanding of trip planning, time management, and HOS compliance
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- NC issue driver's license
- Must live in NC, VA, SC

Schedule & Expectations
- OTR position (nationwide travel)
- Drivers typically stay out 2–3 weeks at a time
- Home time ranges from 3–4 days, based on performance and operational needs
- This is a performance-driven role requiring consistency and accountability
Compensation
- 20% of gross revenue per load
- Weekly settlements (Thursday–Thursday, paid Friday)
- Performance-based bonuses available for high weekly gross
Work Environment
This position requires a high level of independence. Drivers are expected to operate efficiently, communicate clearly, and manage their responsibilities without the need for constant oversight.
Pay: $800.00 - $2,000.00 per week
