Schedule:
- Inpatient/acute care
- 10–15 patients per day
- One weekend per month after the first month
- Sunday on-call coverage may be handled remotely
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to provide autonomous inpatient medical nutrition therapy in an acute-care setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform nutrition assessments and provide medical nutrition therapy
- Monitor patients and therapeutic diets
- Provide nutrition education to patients and families
- Develop and modify nutrition and supplement plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, pharmacy, and other care teams
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress
- Support tube feeding and TPN management
- Follow infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies

- No experience required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- At least one (1) year experience as a registered dietitian.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or a related Nutrition field.
- Master’s degree in dietetics required for those who graduated after January 2024. Degree must be from an accredited University or College approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS
- Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or registry eligible.
- Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice
