Home Care Aide (HCA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide (HCA) to join our team at Right at Home Torrance. As a Home Care Aide (HCA) with Right at Home Torrance, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and vulnerable adults in their own homes. Our franchisees provide a range of care services, including companion care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care services such as bathing and dressing.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, one-on-one care to seniors and vulnerable adults in their homes
Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks
Engage in companionship activities, such as conversation, reading, and watching TV
Monitor and report any changes in client condition to supervisors
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure best possible outcomes for clients
Requirements:
Registered as a Home Care Aide by CA DPSS
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in home care or a related field preferred
Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients with care and safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
