Sales Associate / Inside Sales Coordinator
Dark Horse Metals is a growing steel pipe supply and fabrication company serving helical pile manufacturers, driven pile contractors, large-OD pipe customers, bollard/site protection buyers, and industrial contractors.
We are looking for a Sales Associate / Inside Sales Coordinator to help manage RFQs, customer communication, quote follow-up, CRM updates, and sales support.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, comfortable talking with customers, and able to keep details moving in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and organize customer RFQs.
- Enter and track quotes.
- Follow up on open quotes.
- Maintain customer records.
- Support sales and estimating.
- Help gather vendor pricing.
- Coordinate order handoff to production and shipping.
- Track won/lost quotes.
- Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports.
- Support key accounts and repeat customers.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong follow-up habits.
- Basic computer skills.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, email, and CRM systems.
- Ability to learn pipe, steel, and fabrication terminology.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work with sales, production, shipping, and accounting.
- Industrial, construction, steel, or inside sales experience preferred.
Preferred
- Experience in steel, pipe, fabrication, construction supply, industrial sales, or logistics.
- Experience with CRM or quote tracking.
- Experience working with contractors or manufacturers.
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience, with performance bonus opportunity.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
