The App analyst is responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing reports and dashboards within the StrataJazz platform to support organizational decision-making in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial planning. This position works closely with finance, operations, IT, and clinical stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and relevance. A versatile engineer who can learn and adopt new technologies to problem solve.

Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards within the StrataJazz platform, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost accounting.

Translate business and financial requirements into effective reporting solutions using StrataJazz modules (e.g., Decision Support, Operating Budgeting, MR/PR).

Work with stakeholders across finance, operations, and IT to gather reporting requirements and ensure data interpretation aligns with business objectives.

Perform data validation and reconciliation between StrataJazz and source systems (e.g., ERP, EHR, GL, payroll).

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, including variance analysis and what-if scenario modeling.

Monitor and maintain data integrations and ETL processes feeding into StrataJazz.

Troubleshoot report and data issues, escalating to vendor support when necessary.

Provide training and documentation to end-users on how to use and interpret reports.

Continuously improve reporting efficiency and performance through process optimization and automation where appropriate.

Stay current on StrataJazz updates and new features, recommending improvements as needed.

Education:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Experience:

Four years of solid, diverse work experience in IT

2+ years of experience with StrataJazz Finance tools (highly preferred), or equivalent experience in EPSI, Axiom, TSI, Oracle Cloud or other Healthcare Financial, Budgeting or Cost Accounting Systems.

Enterprise financial reporting platforms (e.g., Epic Cogito, Oracle, SAP, Tableau, Power BI) strongly preferred

Strong understanding of financial concepts, particularly in healthcare (e.g., cost centers, service lines, revenue cycle, FTE analysis).

Direct experience with StrataJazz modules such as:

? Continuous Improvement -
Familiarity with healthcare financial data and systems (e.g., Epic, Oracle, TimeKeep).

Experience in data querying, validation, and visualization.
