About Rogliano Pools
Rogliano Pools is a growing swimming pool construction, renovation, and service company serving Westchester County, NY and surrounding areas.
We specialize in residential swimming pool service, equipment repairs, renovations, tile and coping, plaster, automation systems, and complete new pool construction.
We are looking for an experienced Pool Service Technician who can independently maintain a weekly service route while also working with our construction and renovation crew during the remainder of the week.
Pool service experience and a valid driver's license are REQUIRED for this position.
What the Position Looks Like
This is a hybrid pool service and pool construction position.
For approximately the first half of the week, you should expect to independently service and clean a route of up to 15 residential swimming pools.
For the second half of the week, you will work alongside our construction and renovation crew assisting with new pools, renovations, equipment installations, tile, coping, plumbing, material pickups, and other pool-related construction.
This is NOT strictly a pool-cleaning position.
Pool Service Responsibilities
You should already have the experience necessary to:
- Independently service and clean up to 15 residential swimming pools
- Test and properly balance pool water chemistry
- Vacuum, brush, skim, and maintain pools
- Clean and backwash filters
- Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, cleaners, and other equipment
- Recognize common circulation, filtration, and equipment problems
- Add and properly handle swimming pool chemicals
- Identify potential repairs and notify management
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and chemicals added
- Take photos and document completed service visits
- Keep your company vehicle stocked, clean, and organized
- Communicate professionally with customers when necessary
Construction & Renovation Responsibilities
Once the service portion of the week is completed, you should expect to assist our crew with work including:
- New swimming pool installations
- Pool renovations
- Tile installation
- Coping installation
- Pool equipment installation and replacement
- Pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, and automation
- PVC plumbing and equipment-pad work
- Trenching and underground pool plumbing
- Demolition and preparation work
- Excavation and site preparation
- Pool openings and winterizations
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
- Picking up equipment, tile, coping, plumbing supplies, chemicals, and other materials from suppliers
- Delivering materials and equipment to job sites
- Keeping job sites, trucks, tools, and equipment clean and organized
- Assisting the construction crew wherever needed
You are not required to already know how to install tile, coping, or build a swimming pool. We will teach you these aspects of the business.
However, you must already know how to properly service and maintain swimming pools.
REQUIRED Qualifications
Applicants MUST have all of the following:
- Previous professional pool service experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to independently clean and maintain a residential swimming pool
- Working knowledge of swimming pool water chemistry
- Familiarity with common residential pool equipment
- Ability to safely lift and carry pool equipment, chemicals, tools, and construction materials
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Willingness to work as part of a construction crew after service work is completed
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and hardworking
Please do not apply if you have no previous pool service experience or do not have a valid driver's license.
Experience with Jandy, Hayward, Pentair, Raypak, AquaLink, variable-speed pumps, salt systems, heaters, automation, PVC plumbing, masonry, tile, coping, or pool construction is a major plus but is not required.
Compensation
$30.00 per hour
We are looking for someone who already understands swimming pool service and can become trusted to independently manage their assigned pools.

Who We're Looking For
Some days you may be independently cleaning and servicing pools. Other days you may be installing equipment, helping set tile or coping, picking up materials from a supplier, plumbing a new pool, or working alongside the crew on a complete pool installation.
We want someone who is experienced in pool service, mechanically inclined, dependable, and willing to work wherever needed.
If you're looking for a position where you only clean pools and leave as soon as your route is finished, this isn't the right position.
