Genesis Back & Neck in Fargo is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Spinal Decompression Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, values precision and consistency, and wants to be part of a healthcare team focused on helping patients relieve pain and restore function—without surgery or medication.
You will be responsible for administering spinal decompression therapy and supporting patients throughout their treatment plans in a professional, safe, and encouraging environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor spinal decompression equipment according to provider protocols
- Educate patients on decompression therapy procedures and ensure comfort and proper positioning
- Monitor patients during treatment sessions and report concerns or changes to the provider
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation and patient progress notes
- Assist with patient flow, room turnover, and treatment area cleanliness
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and functioning properly
- Provide excellent customer service and help create a welcoming patient experience
- Work closely with chiropractors and clinical staff to support treatment plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in healthcare, physical therapy, chiropractic, or rehabilitation setting preferred (but not required, on-the-job training provided for the right candidate)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain consistency
- Comfortable working hands-on with patients
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients throughout the day
