Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Director of Youth & Young Adult Faith Formation and Evangelization to lead our vibrant Catholic faith community’s efforts in nurturing spiritual growth across high school students and young adults. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to inspire, organize, and implement faith-based programs that foster deep connections, spiritual development, and evangelization initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with a strong commitment to fostering a welcoming environment where faith can flourish through innovative programming, mentoring, and outreach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee comprehensive faith formation programs for youth and adults that align with the church’s mission and vision.
- Prepare youth for Confirmation in collaboration with the Pastor
- Lead evangelization efforts by creating engaging outreach initiatives to invite new members into the faith community.
- Coordinate and facilitate youth ministry activities, including retreats and service projects that promote active participation.
- Recruit, train and lead CORE and Peer Leaders and volunteers
- Organize and manage special events such as Revival Nights
- Collaborate with parish staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure effective communication and program implementation.
- Create content for social medial platforms to generate excitement for involvement
Requirements
- Proven leadership with minimum of 3 years experience in youth ministry
- Bachelor's Degree in Theology or related field
- Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire diverse age groups through mentoring and public speaking.
- In-depth knowledge of Catholic principles
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or faith-based environments.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $70,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year
