As we expand our footprint within one of the world’s premier wine regions, we are seeking a sophisticated, high-energy Territory Growth Manager. This is a "stealth" recruitment phase; our brand identity will be revealed during the initial interview to maintain our competitive advantage in the local market.
The Role
This is a high-autonomy, field-based position, with 75% travel within Napa Valley. You will be the face of the brand, responsible for nurturing established relationships and strategically opening new luxury retail accounts.
We value results over micromanagement. You will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule and the independence to treat the territory as your own business.
Key Responsibilities
- Current Partnership Management: Visit current clients to manage inventory levels, ensure brand standards, and provide product education.
- Account Retention: Act as the primary point of contact for re-orders and relationship health, ensuring long-term partner satisfaction.
- Merchandising: Execute professional setup and maintenance of branded displays to ensure products are showcased at a luxury standard.
- Strategic Growth: Proactively identify and secure new luxury wholesale partnerships within the Napa Valley region.
Logistics & Physical Requirements
- The Road: This role requires a reliable personal vehicle for travel throughout the Napa Valley territory.
- Physicality: Ability to lift and maneuver wholesale cases and display materials weighing +40 lbs. While cases are delivered directly to partners, you are responsible for on-site inventory counts and display organization.
Who You Are
- Experience: Sales or account management experience. Previous experience within the wine industry or luxury hospitality is highly preferred.
- Professionalism: You possess the polish and communication skills necessary to represent a premium brand to high-end winery stakeholders and business owners.
- Self-Starter: You thrive in an environment where you are given the autonomy to drive your own success without a manager looking over your shoulder.
