Job Overview:
Under minimal supervision, performs a wide variety of duties in support of the company using established procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection of products.
- Completes required paperwork and enters information into the system.
- Inspects small electronic components under high magnification (microscope, stereoscope).
- Generates statistical reports from inspection data.
- May be required to measure parts on SmartScope Equipment
- Performs a variety of tests to determine if customer and Knowles requirements are met.
- Maintain a set schedule in support of the production line.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience with interfacing with customers.
- Experience with inspection of electrical components under high magnification preferred.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Experience in fast-paced materials environment.
- Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Requires superior organizational, accountability and tracking skills.
- Attention to detail is paramount.
- Experience working in an ISO9001 or AS9100-certified company.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).

Physical Requirements:
- The employee is required to stand and or sit for extended periods of time
- A lot of up and down movements
- Microscope work/Computer work
- High paced position
- Must be able to handle extremely small parts
- Use of Tweezers required
- Must be able to multi task
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The hourly rate for this role is $22 - $25 per hour
