Job Summary:
Being an ambassador of our restaurant brand by contributing to the smooth operation of the front of the house by playing a key role in being approachable to answer guests’ questions and a second pair of eyes to their needs as they transition throughout the restaurant. Dedicated to providing a positive experience in meeting our Guests expectations by being a team player and ready to jump in to aid in communication between guests and servers.
Job Description
Functions and Competencies:
- Welcome guests to the venue.
- Provide accurate waiting times and monitor waiting lists.
- Manage reservations.
- Ability to follow delegated rotation assigned.
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas.
- Provide menus and announce servers’ names.
- Greet customers upon their departure.
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area.
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (i.e., children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries.
- Ability to accurately take and post takeout orders to software system.
- Assists wait staff as needed.
· Sets and arranges seating to accommodate guests.
· Aids in preparation of special events.
- Maintain restroom ie. restocking, floors, counters, and trash receptacles.
- Assists in bar areas as needed to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Conduct oneself and perform all duties honestly and ethically and in the best interests of the business.
Education and Training:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Restaurant experience (preferred)
· Strong communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Organization skills: ability to be organized in a changing environment.
· Ability to always maintain a calm professional demeanor.
Comfortable with multiple software systems

Pay: From $16.94 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
