Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies to deliver products efficiently across assigned routes
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Load, unload, and properly handle merchandise using safe lifting practices, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Merchandize products at retail locations by organizing displays, pricing items accurately, and ensuring product availability to maximize sales opportunities
- Engage with customers professionally to provide excellent service, answer questions, and promote upselling of additional products or services
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, route logs, and inventory records for accountability and organization
- Follow route schedules precisely while adapting to unforeseen circumstances with effective communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and automobile transportation standards
- Excellent math skills for pricing adjustments, inventory counts, and transaction accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products through persuasive communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently adhere to safe lifting practices during merchandising tasks
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and maintain accurate records
- Prior experience in sales or merchandising is a plus; military background highly valued for discipline and operational skills
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, customers, and supervisors effectively

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
