Hold or be eligible for current CT State certification English/Language Arts (015)

Collaborate and establish positive relationships with students, teachers, building administrators, parents, and district leaders.

Assess student needs and providing support or extra resources to struggling students as well as exceptional achievers.

Actively involve students in the classroom through group work, project-based learning, exploration, questioning, discussion, and other cooperative teaching techniques.

Utilize best practice instructional strategies and research-based intervention curriculum materials to meet the learning needs all students

Integrate technology, including google classroom seamlessly into teaching strategies and practices

Analyze existing student achievement data to drive instruction.

Maintain accurate student records, parent communications records and student progress data.

Maintain proper professional conduct as defined in the Connecticut Code of Professional Responsibilities for Teachers.
