Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional check-in experience.
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, offering helpful information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Operate multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist guests and coordinate services.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring their needs are met with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, room assignments, and billing details during night shifts or busy periods.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure guest requests are fulfilled swiftly.
- Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience and increase satisfaction levels.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality management by demonstrating excellent guest relations skills at all times.
- Assist in night audit procedures when required, reconciling accounts and preparing reports for management.
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles with a focus on front desk operations.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests from around the world.
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in multi-line phone systems for professional communication.
- Knowledge of hotel experience systems such as reservation software and property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to handle night audit responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive guest interactions and resolve issues diplomatically.
