Position Summary:
As the Health and Wellness Program Coordinator you are responsible for supervising the clinical aspects of the program, the overall project coordination and administration. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing therapy programs that cater to the specific needs of individuals seeking support. Additionally, you will create personalized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and monitor progress to ensure optimal outcomes for clients. ensure supplies and equipment are adequately stocked.
Additionally, as a therapist, you will provide empathetic and professional counseling to individuals and families helping them navigate through challenges and work towards personal growth and healing. Your ability to establish rapport, demonstrate empathy, and employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques will be instrumental in facilitating positive change in the lives of those you serve. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the clinical aspects of the program, the overall project coordination and administration to guarantee its effectiveness.
- Coordinate the daily operations of the program, including assigning therapist caseloads.
- Highly trained in the use of the Owl Therapy platform, provide staff training, respond to all inquiries related to the maintenance and function of the platform.
- Send and review Owl client portal invitations and consent forms.
- Ensuring documentation of therapy session details and notes in a timely and accurate manner and complete programmatic reports
- Attend and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Conduct individual and support group sessions for adult survivors.
- Conduct individual, group and family therapy sessions for survivors.
- Participate in clinical supervision and attend case manager case conferences as needed
- Consulting with clients to identify the problems or conditions they wish to overcome.
- Conducting therapy sessions with clients using various types of visual art, including drawing, sculpting, painting, ceramics, and clay modeling.
- Developing suitable art therapy programs for clients based on their needs, objectives, and preferred forms of artistic expression.
- Teaching clients coping skills and strategies to enable them to deal with challenging and traumatic experiences.
- Conducting group or family therapy sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work or related discipline
- Preferred certification by the art therapy credentials board (ATCB).
- Appropriate state licensure preferred
- Excellent observational and counseling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and creative.
- Minimum of 2 years of therapy experience with youth
- Minimum 1 year of experience providing therapy to survivors of domestic/ sexual violence experience.
Training Requirements: Forty/sixty hours of domestic violence and/or sexual assault training. Five hours paid training related to LGBTQI+ community provided by the agency.
