American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level 1 Trauma experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Works in a hospital Emergency Department setting

Night shift schedule: 7p-7a, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week

Every other weekend requirement

Level 1 Trauma experience required

13-week contract

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact (eNLC) license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required

Level 1 Trauma experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Provides nursing care to a variety of ED patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex

Responsibilities include monitoring physiological data, administering medications, initiating and regulating IV infusions and blood products, assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures, and delegating tasks to support staff

Communicates care plans and discharge instructions to patients and families

Previous workers at this health system may return after a 6-month separation period following a maximum of 26 weeks (one extension) of prior service
