You’ll spend your shifts creating polished styles, connecting with clients, recommending products and services that genuinely help, keeping the salon clean, and supporting the team when things get busy.
Some days will be relaxed. Some days will be packed with birthdays, weddings, events, and back-to-back appointments.
You’ll need to move quickly without making clients feel rushed.

You’ll need to be confident enough to work independently (once trained on our specific methods) and professional enough to accept coaching.

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable hair care routines and styles based on individual features and desires
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations
- Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
- Assist clients with retail product recommendations and upselling to enhance their overall experience
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to offer innovative solutions
- Support store management with front desk duties, client communication, and mentoring new team members when needed
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state law
- Experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales and upselling techniques to support store growth

Pay: $10.00 - $26.50 per hour
