The Position
Our client, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Regulatory Attorney to support sophisticated telecommunications, broadband, and digital infrastructure matters on a long-term fractional basis. This attorney will advise clients on telecommunications regulatory strategy, agency matters involving the FCC and NTIA, broadband deployment initiatives, spectrum and connectivity issues, and federal funding opportunities. The ideal candidate brings significant experience navigating federal telecommunications frameworks and providing practical, business-focused regulatory guidance to a variety of stakeholders. Candidates with law firm experience and backgrounds advising utilities, municipalities, or other public-sector entities on infrastructure-related projects are particularly attractive.
This project starts ASAP, with an estimated duration through the end of the year, is remote with occasional travel requirements to D.C., and requires 10-20 hours a week. East Coast-based candidates are preferred, but not required, and those located near D.C. have the option to work a hybrid work model.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $125 and $130. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
