Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs gracefully
- Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively
- Food handling certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
