We are seeking an experienced Operations Support & Scheduling Manager to serve as the operational hub between customers, field crews, production, sales, and leadership. This role is responsible for coordinating labor, equipment, materials, and project schedules while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, and can confidently balance multiple priorities while supporting operational excellence and an exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Do
As the Operations Support & Scheduling Manager, you will play a critical role in the daily success of our operations by ensuring projects are properly planned, staffed, and executed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, maintain, and manage daily and weekly schedules for installation crews and field operations.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and resources across multiple active job sites.
- Dispatch crews and adjust schedules based on customer priorities, project timelines, weather, equipment availability, and operational demands.
- Serve as the primary communication link between customers, sales, operations, field personnel, and leadership.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address scheduling conflicts or operational challenges.
- Conduct periodic field visits to review project status, installation quality, and crew performance.
- Support payroll review, crew incentive programs, billing accuracy, and operational reporting.
- Ensure equipment is available, maintained, and ready for scheduled work.
- Assist with DOT compliance, safety documentation, and operational procedures.
- Track production and scheduling metrics while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve scheduling processes, workflow, communication, and operational performance.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records, project updates, and operational documentation.
- Foster strong working relationships across departments while promoting teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications Required
- 3–5+ years of experience in operations, scheduling, dispatch, construction coordination, manufacturing operations, or project management.
- Construction experience required; spray foam, insulation, air barrier, commercial construction, or related industry experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating multiple crews, projects, or operational priorities simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, sequencing, and resource planning.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling or ERP software.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
- Willingness to travel overnight on occasion to monitor project progress and support field operations.
Preferred
- Experience supporting payroll, operational reporting, or crew incentive programs.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and equipment coordination.
- Experience in manufacturing, commercial construction, industrial services, or field operations.
- Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience.
