Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee food production processes, including inventory control, food handling, and storage practices to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Manage daily kitchen activities such as shift management, food preparation, and ensuring timely service during busy hours.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
- Support inventory management efforts by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and controlling food costs effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills across various cuisines.
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of banquet service, catering operations, and dietary department procedures is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food production techniques, inventory management, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment.
- Previous restaurant management or food service management experience is preferred; bartending experience is a plus.
