Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-minded Camera Car Driver to join our repossession team. This is a night shift position. The Camera Car Driver is responsible for assisting repossession agents by locating and documenting vehicles subject to repossession while operating a company vehicle equipped with cameras and other necessary equipment.
This position requires excellent observation skills, discretion, patience, and the ability to work independently while following all company policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Operate a company camera car safely and professionally.
- Assist repossession agents with locating vehicles assigned for recovery.
- Conduct surveillance and vehicle-location work from public areas and in accordance with company procedures.
- Accurately document vehicle locations, descriptions, license plates, and other relevant information.
- Take clear photographs and/or video when required.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and repossession agents throughout assignments.
- Provide accurate and timely updates regarding vehicle locations and activity.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and repossession guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and account information.
- Complete required reports and upload photographs/documentation into the company’s designated system.
- Properly maintain and secure company equipment and vehicle.
- Exercise sound judgment and avoid unnecessary confrontations or escalation.
- Be available for varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from the company location.
- Previous experience in repossession, surveillance, security, towing, field services, or a related industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Ability to remain patient and focused during extended periods of surveillance.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer and smartphone skills.
- Ability to accurately complete electronic reports and upload photographs.
- Professional communication skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to follow established procedures.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
Ideal Candidate

Previous repossession experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual.
