Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients, assembling plates, and organizing supplies.
- Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all food items are prepared and presented according to standards.
- Uphold strict food handling and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for both staff and guests.
- Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times.
- Support serving staff with quick turnaround of dishes during peak hours or special events.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
- Experience working in banquet or catering settings can be advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining sanitation standards is important.
- Prior hospitality or hotel experience can enhance your ability to deliver excellent guest service.
- A background in culinary arts or kitchen experience demonstrates a strong foundation for this role.
