Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of automotive accessory installations, will possess excellent mechanical and electrical (12v systems) problem solving abilities, demonstrate leadership qualities and exhibit strong decision-making skills. This role requires a hands-on approach, and building projects from start to finish while collaborating with team members to achieve project goals efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Problem solve during job builds to obtain customer objective while controlling costs and ensuring premium quality builds
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including cordless and air powered tools
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management and foster a collaborative, team building environment
Skills
- Proficiency in accessory installation practices and familiarity with all makes and model of trucks and light commercial vehicles
- Strong background in automotive related field with understanding of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a shop environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise during installations.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and equipment used in the aftermarket automotive industry.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Possess shop tools required to perform the duties listed above.
- A fantastic, can-do attitude.
