Straight Talk Clinic (STC) has been serving individuals and families through mental health, substance use disorder treatment, and rehabilitative services for over 50 years. We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist who is passionate about people, compliance, and creating a positive employee experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and meaningful work. As the primary HR resource for the organization, you will support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, performance management, and workforce development initiatives across multiple programs.
What You'll Do
- Lead recruiting and onboarding efforts
- Support employee relations and workplace culture
- Manage leaves of absence and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with California employment laws
- Maintain HR records, systems, and reporting
- Partner with leaders to support employee success
- Help strengthen policies, procedures, and organizational practices
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of HR experience
- Strong understanding of California employment law
- Experience with recruiting, employee relations, and HR compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Pay: $72,800.00 - $80,000.00 per year
