Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our fine dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations in food service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a fine dining environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- A sales-oriented mindset to promote menu items effectively while assisting guests.
