Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in delivery operations.
Must be 21 or older with a clean DMV record.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
- Assist in warehouse operations when necessary, including using forklifts and pallet jacks for moving inventory.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and logistics is advantageous.
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in loading/unloading operations.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
